What people on Amazon are saying about my book

By Jamie Askew - See all my reviews After several years of progressively problematic digestion, I finally
started seeing a nutritionist. She gave me this book at our second
session and it's been a lifesaver. It's really easy to follow and fun
to read and not at all daunting. With small simple changes I've already
noticed a big improvement in my digestion. The ailment guide is great
and made me realise how much control I have over the way I feel, just
by the foods I choose to eat. If it were just a textbook I wouldn't
figure out how to incorporate any of the information into my life, but
there are charts and guides and delicious recipes that give you a
springboard into real life. Highly recommended!
By Emily Larsen (Mill Valley, CA) - See all my reviews This book is well laid out, easy to follow and has many plans to boost your body back to health. Really good recipes and easy to follow meal plans are in every section.
By Adele (Australia) - See all my reviews this is one of the 'friendliest' most practical versions of a detox plan i've come across. the recipes taste great and are actually interesting, plus there's enough variety you don't get bored. there are three different plans you can use alone or combine, for instance digestion, energy-boost - depending on what your needs are.
the food includes interesting ingredients like pomegranite and guava. one of my faves is ginger organic chicken on skewers with quinoa tabbouleh. some meat like organic chicken and tuna is allowed, plus beans and certain grains, as well as the usual fruit and veg overload. heaps of drinks/teas/smoothies options too. you won't get bored with this food!
there's information on how detoxes can help, thoughts on the modern processed diet plus a whole section at the back on recipes tailored to individual health complaints. all in all, this is the first detox book that's inspired me to actually go ahead and do one and not give up out of boredom or frustration!
Health made easy, 14 Mar 2007 By jonathan Livingston (London) - See all my reviewsI read this book and cannot believe how enthusiastic Max Tomlinson is. I found the recipes accessible, and the commonsense approach infectious. The layout and illustrations are user-friendly. By the time I had read through the book, I felt as though I knew more about my body than I did before. I have now refreshed my tastebuds, so that I do not need junk food, and I feel so much lighter and more energetic. If anyone is looking for a down-to-earth approach to being healthy, let me recommend this book.
Good health doesn't have to be boring!, 3 Mar 2007 By K. Haupt (Milton Keynes, UK) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) This book is written by a man whose passion for his subject is evident, from the very personal and heartfelt introduction to the last of the potently healthy recipe ideas. I have read many books on diet and nutrition, but seldom have I been more impressed by the knowledge and sheer common sense that are laid out in this book in such a pragmatic style. Common health complaints are addressed, with recipe suggestions and recommendations of foods to avoid in order to alleviate the complaint. The book also focuses on the detox process in a building block process that takes the pain (well most of it!) out of the route back to good health. Max Tomlinson makes a solid case for the cause, not only of good health, but also of general wellbeing. A highly recommended read and life guide.
Finally a book on detox easy to understand!, 16 Feb 2007 By A. Maia "Summer" (London) - See all my reviews I found this book to be very easy to read and understand. Once you get stuck in and start reading it, Max seems to hold your hand throughout the process. It has very good tips, really easy to understand language and very interesting recepies. I'm really into smoothies as a way to eat my fruit and it has plenty of new smoothies to choose from. I totally recommend it to anyone wanting to find out more about how the body works and how to best optimise it.
