Max Tomlinson, the 'Nature Doctor',  is an Australian trained naturopath, nutritionist, homeopath and medical herbalist. Max has a special interest in functional medicine and scientific orthomolecular nutrition and works closely with the leading nutritional testing laboratories in the UK.  Max has been in clinical practice for over 25 years.

Max has run clinics in Sydney and London. Max currently resides in London where he combines practicing in his busy clinic, with lecturing and writing about natural therapies. Max pioneered the resurgence of the detox concept and ran his first detox programme in London in 1988. Max has a high profile client list that includes top celebrities, royalty and business personalities.

Max was voted one of the top 10 alternative practitioners in the UK by The Guardian Weekend Newspaper. He had a regular TV show in Australia and has made numerous guest appearances on UK television, including a regular slot on The Big Breakfast on Channel 4. Max currently appears regularly on Sky in the UK. Max has featured in, amongst others, Red, Vogue, Harpers & Bazaar, Marie Claire, Daily Mail, The Sunday Times: Style Magazine, Elle, Zest, Conde Nast Traveler and Time Out.

Max set up a health and fitness retreat company in 2003, which was voted one of Harpers & Queen's '100 greatest escapes in the world'. Max is a nutritional consultant to Restaurant Associates, part of the Compass catering group and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel group. He is the consultant Head of Complementary Therapies for ESPA International.

I work to my own rythym and can not be held accountable to your diary, your time-frame, potential time constraints/pressures, your possible impatience or your perceived need for me to act quickly. I always perform a full and careful analysis ofmy client’s needs. This may take one day or it may take 3+ weeks. My way of working can really annoy some of my clients but after 22 years of successful practice I am adamant that my way is right. I urge you to be patient.
